It needs to be Walz or Beshear. The problem with Shapiro is hes that controversial of a candidate in regards to his Israel stance (and some other issues like sexual harassment controversy) that yeah he may help win Penn. But she'll lose Michigan guranteed and may lose the rest of the rust belt and midwest states or make them more competitive thats not what this campaign needs. Walz is literally the perfect option for VP: a progressive record in his state, very likable, very little controversy in both his political and personal life, a veteran, a former teacher, started the whole "weird" trend recently against Republicans among other things he said that can make him the perfect person to debate JD Vance (the anti vance if you will lol), him being in Minnesota and his small town normal working class guy appeal can help not just with the rust belt but can attract the midwest and rural areas of the country very well so much so he might help make inroads in states that Democrats struggle with Beshear has a lot of these same qualities as well and he runs a RED state in Kentucky and he's the youngest on the VP list that could attract millenial and gen Z voters. Shapiro and Kelly are too controversial and could help Democrats lose in November America cant afford that

Shapiro is a practicing Jew. He is a bad choice because of his support for Israel. He can’t help it. It’s ingrained. Biden alienated young people. The youth vote will be lost. I don’t think the benefit to Kamala in carrying PA outweighs the negatives. Then there’s also the innate anti-semitism in the upper Midwest, the same area Vance is supposed to appeal to.

There just aren't many kids (of similar age to our kids) in our neighborhood in my suburban city. The other kids from their school live in a pretty spread out area in our city with a population of 70K.

All I can say is, if she picks him he'd BETTER deliver PA, because I personally think he comes across as smug and a little too polished. The Democrats have a deep bench of potential vice presidential picks and should leave as little to chance as possible. IMO Senator Kelly is the strongest candidate with his biography and record that can attract undecided voters, especially males 18-34 that are inclined towards Trump. Also, his admirable support of his wife is a plus for all, especially woman voters who may be on the fence. In the final analysis, I will vote for Harris no matter who she chooses.

Shapiro is a good choice. Walz is a great choice. Beshear is a decent choice. Kelly is a bad choice-no energy no teeth. People respond to energy and relatability. Walz has both, Shapiro has both-kind of.

Even once you choose your seats they sometimes give them away. It happened to me on Delta. I picked seats together for me and my husband and when we got to the airport (early as always) they had already given them to someone else and would not give them back. We wound up at separate ends of the plane.

If we're being real, it's between Kelly and Shapiro. I think picking by who can deliver their state is the wrong way to think about this, because I'm not sure either can deliver their state. Which one of them has more appeal nationally? That's Mark Kelly, and it's not particularly close. But I would love to see Shapiro dismantle Vance in a debate.
